Snowshoe Rentals and Programs

Take the opportunity to experience walking on snowshoes this winter.

You and your class/group/family can rent snowshoes from Ausable Bayfield Conservation.

Ausable Bayfield Conservation's expert staff can also deliver a quality program for your class/group on how to use snowshoes properly and test out newly acquired snowshoeing skills through games and activities.

Families can rent snowshoes directly from the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) Administrative Centre at 71108 Morrison Line in Exeter between the hours of 9 - 4 p.m.

Ausable Bayfield Conservation staff can come to your school/location and lead an outdoor snowshoe program or:

  • Schools/groups can rent snowshoes for the day and your teachers lead snowshoe programs or
  • Classes/groups can go to Morrison Dam Conservation Area, 2 km east of Exeter, for a two-hour ABCA-instructed snowshoe program
