Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority

Award for Hensall's Evan Krebs

Melissa Prout presents award to Evan Krebs.

Melissa Prout, a conservation educator with Ausable Bayfield Conservation, presents the Conservation Award for the Huron-Perth Sci-Tech Encounters Regional Science and Inventors’ Fair, 2017, to Evan Krebs, of Hensall.

The Conservation Award is provided by Ausable Bayfield, Maitland Valley, and Upper Thames River conservation authorities.

The Conservation Award is given to a student whose project is focused on conservation of natural resources with a local focus.

Evan’s project investigated different combinations of Straight Vegetable Oils (in this case, canola and soybean oil) as an alternative fuel for agricultural diesel engines. Evan receives this award, worth $100, and a plaque as a memento.

Evan will be attending University of Guelph, for Mechanical Engineering, in September.
